The adventure began in 1988 in Ragusa when a group of young entrepreneurs decided to broaden their horizons by founding a cooperative company specializing in the organization and sale of holidays and travel.
Thus was born the Mediterranean Tourist: a small travel agency and tour operator that offered stays in the province of Ragusa and organized trips throughout Europe. Few collaborators … but a lot of professionalism! And immediately there are many tourists who decide to rely on Mediterranean Tourist to organize their holidays.
The travel agency and t.o. It begins to grow … it was thus decided not to propose only the Province of Ragusa anymore and in the following years the programming of Mediterranean Tourist gradually diversified, proposing to the public different solutions, each dedicated to a specific theme.
Mediterranean Tourist becomes big! 1996 is the turning point. The founding members change and new recruits arrive who, taken with enthusiasm and desire to do well, lead the company to objectives never achieved, therefore in 2003 the company coop. Mediterranean Tourist changes its name to Giritravel srl by Mediterranean Tourist. Tourists have grown ….. the collaborators also grow …. and, again in 2003, the headquarters of the travel agency and t.o. moves into a modern and welcoming building. The destinations suggested by Giritravel srl by Mediterranean Tourist become so many … in any part of the world! From Greece to Spain, from Dubai to the Maldives …. and then Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Mauritius …. to Cruises in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean ….
Many are the tourists who in these 15 years have relied on Giritravel srl by Mediterranean Tourist to plan their holidays, as proof of the great quality of the products offered.
An increasingly extended family …. and which continues to grow!
